<p>At the first meeting of the New Year the F-V Downtown Rotary Club welcomed its newest member, Bill Johnson (center, photo). Club president, Janet Rommel did the welcoming and Mr. Johnson’s sponsor, John Trawick added congratulation on behalf of all. And although a retired Secondary teacher from New York Mr. Johnson is not new to Rotary having been a Rotarian when he moved to Oxford, NC after retiring. Interested in knowing more about the F-V Downtown Rotary Club, they meet Wednesday morning, 7:30 a.m. at Stephens Ace Hardware, 405 Board Street, Fuquay-Varina or contact club president, Janet Rommel at 919 577-0922.</p>
